  Know Not

Sara Owens

The more I learn, the less I know.
Questions answered beget new ones.

Why do fireflies glow?
      Bioluminescence.
What?

      Body Light presence.
Where?

      In his abdomen.
How?

      Reaction to oxygen.
When?

      The fireflies breathe.

So…  Why do fireflies glow?
      To attract mates.
How?

      By flashing at fast rates.
When?

      It is dark everywhere.
Where?

      In the warm summer air.

So… why do fireflies glow?

I don’t know.
